I was pleased with such a lovely quality entry and all the dogs were in pristine condition, beautifully groomed even clean teeth, one of my pet hates is dirty teeth.
Temperaments on the whole were good and I was certainly spoilt for choice in some classes. If I was to criticise I would prefer a more weather proof coat & in some exhibits the dogs seemed to have been bathed and consequently stripped of all texture making coats soft & therefore not weather proof & I would rather see a tail slightly lifted than rough handling to keep it down.

Lovely quality bitch, strong head with nice soft eye, correct bite with full dentition, strong neck & good depth of chest, nice length of rib & gently sloping croup with good rear angulation, well muscled throughout allowing free movement. BVB & BVIS
2. Anderson's Caristan Catch Me If You Can ShCM. Very masculine with strong head & neck, nice lay of shoulder & good length of back, well muscled throughout which showed in his effortless movement & so unlucky to meet 1st. BVD

1. Hawker's Foxbarton Taittinger JW ShCM. So masculine & no mistaking he was all male. Correct head shape with nice oval eye strong muzzle & correct bite, strong neck & good lay of shoulder with good depth of chest, strong back & loin, well angulated hind quarters & correct tail set in good coat of correct type, his movement was steady & effortless & in excellent hard condition. BD & BIS
2. Foxbarton Lady In Waiting JW CDex. Dam of the winner of this class & it was so close between the two, just preferred his easier movement, but a lovely bitch good head & neck, correct length of body, well muscled throughout.

1. Gillespie's Bordertime Sendin The Clown to Detania. 8.5 months, nice broad head & lovely dark eyes, correct bite. Good arch of neck & well laid shoulders with good depth to chest, nice body length with good rear angulation, good tail set, moved very steady for a youngster.
2. Edmonds & Dutton's Tazaeos Time Warp. Just 6 months and real baby of class, but was really nicely made. Nice head & neck with well laid shoulders adequate length of body & nicely muscled hindquarters moved out well, pushed winner hard but just lost on maturity.

1. Gillespie's Detania Golden Sovereign. Loved this lad as he entered the ring, his colouring matched his name. Good broad head & nice eye correct bite & strong jaw. Nice arch of neck & deep chest well placed shoulders & well sprung ribs, strong in back & nice rear angulation well let down hocks, coat was harsh here today. Effortless movement & pushed hard in challenge.

1. Stacey's Bilyara Orapa. This boy was so in tune with his handler & didn’t put a foot wrong, beautifully handled to get the best from him. Nice broad skull with strong muzzle, nice oval eye & correct bite with good under jaw, muscular neck & well laid shoulders, chest deep & broad, good length of back & loin strong, good rear angulations & hocks well let down, good tail carriage. Movement was effortless. RBD.
2. Carley's Jupavia Prince Of Thieves. Nice boy just preferred overall balance of 1st.

2. Beaumont's Borderbeau Emporio Armani. Nice broad head & correct shape eye, correct bite & good arch of neck, chest deep & ribs well sprung strong over the loin & nice rear angulation, just preferred 1st for type & movement.

MPB (5, 1a) In this class my notes say first three very similar & was just trying to split hairs to separate them, in the end it was the first's movement that was just effortless & sure she would have kept going the more they went round the better she got.
1. Hartfield's Moshanta Move It Move It. Very feminine head with melting expression, lovely dark eyes & correct bite, nice arch of neck & shoulders well laid back with good depth chest & length rib, well rounded hindquarters & nice neat hocks well let down. BPB & BPIS.
2. MacDonald's Jupavia Seventh Blessing. Very similar to 1st just not the freedom of movement.

2. Gillespie's Detania One Nite At The Opera, notes say, good broad head & lovely soft eye, strong in neck & body, well muscled throughout allowing steady movement.

LB (7, 1a) This was a super class & I was really spoilt for choice here, all were worthy winners & I would have liked three 1st place cards.
1. Timms' Borderbeau Blithe Spirit at Remajak. Fairly broad head with nice dark eyes & lovely soft expression, good bite & nice square jaw. Moderate arch to neck & good lay of shoulder with nice depth to chest, long ribs with strong topline & good rear angulation well muscled, hocks well let down, allowing easy movement that was smooth & effortless, presented in excellent condition. BB & RBIS.
2. Tiller's Foxbarton Lady Chandon JW ShCM. Another super fit young lady, lovely head & expression, nice arch of neck & well placed shoulders with good depth to chest, rib not as long as 1st but adequate strong over loin, well muscled throughout allowing freedom of movement & this was enough for her to win RBB.
