Discover Dogs at Earls Court

This is hosted every November by the Kennel Club as an introduction to over 180 different breeds of pedigree dog. Here the general public can meet and talk to knowledgeable owners of these breeds and learn about each one's suitability for their family. There are various displays and demonstrations to both inform and entertain together with a large array of canine products on sale.

The Southern Border Collie Club is proud to represent our breed at this annual event. Members of the club's committee are present on both days to give help and advice to anyone interested in owning, or indeed who already owns, a Border Collie. The health and well being of the breed are of paramount importance to us as a club and by participating at Discover Dogs every year we hope we are continuing to promote the breed and educate the public about this most versatile of dogs – the Border Collie.

And to answer the question asked, maybe in a light hearted way, every year – No, Border Collies do not come ready trained!

For further details of this event please visit The Kennel Club.
