Judge: Keith Baldwin

Veteran Dog or Bitch (10, 3a)
1. Ulyatt's Caristan Rum N' Black At Cornhaze. 10½ year old black and white male, gave a good performance, masculine head with broad skull, dark brown oval eye, nice bone and feet, brisk mover, shows well.
2. Land's Caristan Sweet Wine At Casmawllan. 9 year old black and white bitch, younger from a repeat mating I see from my catalogue, just a feminine version that looks well and could still do what she was bred for, well presented.
3. Geering's Kirkdale Dark & Dreamy At Beltane
4. Ward's Sh Ch Caristan Moet Chandon JW
5. Emery's Beesting Flibbity Gibbet With Florauna

Special Working Dog or Bitch (4, 1)
1. Tiller's Foxbarton That's Jazz CDex UDex. 9 year old bitch, petite, compact, smart fit and athletic, black and white with tan points on head which was well tapered and feminine, erect ears, dark eye, firm body with ample bone, front legs viewed straight, brisk mover.
2. Tiller's Foxbarton Lady In Waiting JW CDex. 5 year old bitch with similar markings and as I am writing this I see she is out of the same dam, though she is lighter boned and taller, erect ears and tan points on head, scissor bite, lots of energy, well shown.
3. Spurr's Bluella Mystery Man

MPD (1)
1. Evans' Skybound Shooting Star. 6 months old black and white, just overpowered by indoor atmosphere and noise, once he gets used to it he will be ok, catch him in the moment and he looks good, scissor bite by feel only as I was not going to force him, entire, nice sheen to coat, good size and development.

PD (3, 1)
1. Scott's Lydeardlea Supersonic Of Belsmard. 9 months old black and white, nice size and type could easy have been my BPIS but I penalised him for his temperament, the handler looks confident and assertive so I am sure she will get to grips with him, nice head, scissor bite, soft ears, dark oval eye, front legs viewed straight with ample bone, liked his body shape, nice coat, free mover, Best Puppy Dog.
2. Spurr's Dreamwork I Am Legend. 9 month old red merle with large white collar, developing head, blue eyes, nose brown and scissor bite, lean body, rangy and long cast, good bone and feet, played handler up throughout and on the move.

JD (9, 3)
1. Beaumont's Borderbeau Highfalutin' JW. 15 months old, black and white, white extending from collar into forelegs which are viewed straight with strong bone, stands on good feet and pasterns, masculine head of equal proportions, scissor bite, strong neck, firm body with ribs well sprung, nice quarters move out free and positive. Reserve Best Dog.
2. Curtis' Beltane Web Catcher (AI). 14 months old black and white, too handsome for a B/Collie with a well groomed and tidy coat, pristine condition, really liked him a lot, a close decision between these two, has everything going for him and should do well in the future, well shown.
3. Lydeardlea Supersonic Of Belsmard
4. Thornton's Deeann Majestic Dream
5. Coogan's Arnpriors Top Gun

YD (1)
1. Arnpriors Top Gun. 13 months old black and white, VHC in previous class, body and coat ok, medium bone, but his head could do with more muzzle and the stop is too distinct and the skull is domed which detracts, well presented.

GD (4, 1)
1. Hawker's Foxbarton Taittinger JW. 16 months old black and white, nice for type that I was happy to have in my final line up, nice size and not overdone in any department, nearly lost it when a clicker was used outside the ring for photographs. One to watch out for, typical mover.
2. Jay's Jaysali Talk Of The Town. 2 year old black and white, white extends through forequarters with feet turned out, masculine head, scissor bite, big coat and overlong in body, needs more exercise to strengthen rear quarters which showed on the move.
3. Mangles' Karrider Kissed By Magic

PGD (4)
1. Beaumont's Borderbeau Emporio Armani. 2 year old black and white, white extends from collar, chest and forelegs, masculine head with ample skull, well tapered muzzle of equal length, scissor bite, neck of good length into athletic body which is firm, in between coats, could benefit from more turn of stifle as he appears to have choppy rear movement.
2. Skipper's Wizaland Eco Warrior. 4 year old black and white, mature boy with big coat going a bit wavy, of good texture, nice head shape and ear set, brown eye, strong neck into firm body, medium bone, front leg viewed nearly straight, handler coped well throughout.
3. Allen's Miraje Tazindy with Lattonwood
4. Bluella Mystery Man

LD (1)
1. Beaumont's Locheil Travellin' South To Borderbeau JW ShCM. 5 year old black and white, in full coat with abundant white mane, head of good proportions and masculine, ears erect well set, scissor bite, strong neck could be longer, nice body shape, well ribbed and firm, strong bone with front legs straight, muscular rear quarters with well turned stifle, free and even mover.

OD (4, 2)
1. Beaumont & Gregory's Sh Ch Tonkory Illusion ShCM. 3 year old black and white in super condition, bang on size and with lovely body shape in profile stood. Masculine head of equal proportions with dark oval shaped eye with alert expression, scissor bite, East-West ears, well you cannot have everything, strong neck into firm body, gleaming coat of good texture, forelegs viewed straight and strong bone on good feet, the best of angulation on front and hind quarters with well turned stifle, moved very well, positive and free. Best Dog and Best in Show.
2. Turner's Littlethorn Riley. 2 years old, black and white, good size and masculine, nice to go over and in good coat, front legs straight with strong bone, compact feet and good pasterns, I can only assume he goes better in a big ring outdoors for today in the confines of the indoor space the hander only walked him with tail proud around the ring.

MPB (5, 1)
1. Chainey's Locheil Eclipse Of The Moon over Taranza. 8 months old black and white, well schooled and presented to advantage, feminine head with keen alert expression, dark oval eye, mobile semi erect ears, scissor bite, lovely body shape in profile, ample bone, straight front legs on good feet, nice quarters move free and even. Best Puppy Bitch. BPIS.
2. Saxon's Skybound Amelia Aerhart. 6 month old black and white, being brought into the world of showing nicely with her tail proud today which is better than between her legs, big puppy coat with a slight wave, attitude and development nice, presented well, Reserve Best Bitch Puppy.
3. Terry's Locheil Fullmoon
4. Pudney's Zanyway Dancing Queen

PB (6, 2)
1. Skybound Amelia Aerhart
2. Kumarasinhe's Bazentills Miss Aniversary. 11 months old black and white, head feminine, scissor bite, ears in repose which spoilt expression, nothing out of place so with a bit more confidence could easy have won the class, sympathetically shown, steady mover.
3. Locheil Fullmoon
4. Zanyway Dancing Queen

JB (8, 1)
1. Geering's Beltane Ice Web (AI). Won the best class of the day and if I was allowed to take one home out of the overall entry today this would have been the one, just shouts Border Collie, keen, alert, responsive and intelligent, good conformation and balance, just flies the flag, I would rather see it there than between her legs, best of movers, free, smooth and even. Should have a bright future. Best Bitch.
2. Emery's Beltane No More Secrets From Florauna (AI). Litter sister I see, all the attributes of her sister apply, she's just a bit more feminine and that's not a bad thing, loved her type and attitude, Reserve Best Bitch.
3. Good & Lewis' Shemella Evening Mist
4. Greenshields' Beltane Corn Dolly (AI)
5. Ulyatt's Cornhaze Absolut Passion

YB (5)
1. Green's Bilyara Cantata. 22 months old black and white, handled and presented by a capable young lady who got the best out of her, nice typical border with straight front legs and pasterns with strong bone, could be a little shorter in body to complete the picture, nice coat, steady mover.
2. Kernahan & Ward's Charney Spica JW. 19 months old black and white, initially my class winner after going over and look in profile, lost out when I was coming down the line while handler having got hands around her neck lifting ears up, she is forgetting that I am looking also at the front assembly being strong and straight, the feet were turned out.
3. Timms' Kamarda Hermione
4. Beltane Corn Dolly (AI)
5. Eaton's Arnpriors Midnite

GB (5, 1)
1. Geering's Beltane Ice Queen (AI). Writing these notes I see she is also from the AI litter 14 months ago, well they have certainly done you very well, producing type and construction, this litter can compete at the highest level, you should be proud, well done.
2. Pudney's Zanyway Little Miss Drizzle. 2 years old black and white, only just in coat which makes her look longer cast and presenting a challenge by taking handler out of the ring, quickly brought to task by her capable and assertive handler to gain second place.
3. Kamarda Hermione
4. Arnpriors Midnite

PGB (5, 2)
1. Emery's Florauna Wishful Thinking. 2½ year old black and white, feminine head equal skull and foreface, scissor bite, could benefit from more length of neck, nice firm body, good feet and bone, tail well feathered, femininity through out, free and even mover.
2. Land's Lydeardlea Lace's Legacy At Casmawllan. 3½ year old black and white, catch the moment and her ears are erect and used, then they go into repose, head of good shape with dark brown expressive eye, medium bone and front legs just about straight, overlong in body and moved a touch close behind.
3. Kernahan's Charney Wish Upon A Star

LB (4, 2)
1. Tiller's Foxbarton Lady Chandon JW ShCM. 2½ year old black and white, another I liked for type, balanced feminine head, dark eye, nice neck and body, medium bone and adequate angulation, moved and presented well, has all the capability to do well in the future.
2. Scott's Lydeardlea Buttons And Bows Of Belsmard. 3½ year old a lot to like about her, not helped by having her too hyped up, she was also carrying a few extra pounds and a big coat, straight front legs with good bone and feet, well presented and moved out well.

OB (5, 2)
1. Turner's Littlethorn Sapphire. 2½ years old black and white, all that I would have expected when I reached this class, nice for type and looks great stood but totally let me down when she was on the move, hocks were that close she was nearly tripping herself up. So disappointing for me that she moved this way.
2. Ward's Caristan Wind Chimes. 2 year old black and white, at this stage of the day she looked totally fed up and so did the handler, throwing bait around the ring still didn't spark any interest.
3. Harvey's Sh Ch Sheltysham Sampane Soda

Brace (1)
1. Allen's. Waited all day for this moment of glory, they all seemed to be enjoying their day out.
