C Part 1 D/B - Judge's Report
Judge: Celia Vines
Steward: Margaret Garland
Scoreboard: Rose
Thank you Karen for the invite to do this class, I really enjoyed my day and I must say all the competitors were very polite to both me & my steward. The weather did help to keep us going all day (hope that was not our summer).
We were looked after all day. Margaret was as usual on form, with giving everyone the same chance, thank you for that, and to Rose for doing the table in between working her dogs. What a day.
1st. Mrs R Scott and Wizinby Fleet. BC. Lost 3.
Very impressed with the clean style, worked as a team, finishing with a text book scent. I could see why you were over the moon. The very best of luck.
2nd. Ms G Brett and Iatka Razzy's Girl OW. WS. Lost 4.
A keen and responsive youngster, who was so accurate in most exercises, especially on the spot D.C. Beautiful. Good luck for the future.
3rd. Mr R Becque and Silver Of Blue Moon. WS.Lost 6
A lovely distant control, clear scent, good fast sendaway, but the pick up was very wide. ASSD clean, but an extra command and a stop going into slow pace cost a higher place. All the best.
4th. Mrs B Potiphar and Quilters Star Chance OW. WS. Lost 7
Another very good sendaway, distant control clean, I have written very good change of pace, marred by walking on. I'm sure this will be put right soon. Best of luck.
5th. Ms J Rock and Featherstone Ty OW. WS. Lost 8.
One of the few clear retrieves and scent, good sendaway, marred by a wide slow pick up, maybe an off day. All the best.
6th. Ms A Davis and Dunnslayne Olop. BC. Lost 8 1/2.
A brilliant sendaway and pick up, a drop in retrieve, distant control was good except a slow sit, took a wrong turn, but seemed to enjoy the round. Good luck.
