BIS ~ Judge Jeff Luscott
Thank you to the club and Committee for the hospitality, it was lovely to be amongst friendly dog folks for the day and to do Best In Show was a pleasure.
BEST IN SHOW Turner's Littlethorn Sapphire
The decision unfortunately was taken away with the dog, Large, Harlow & Broadhurst's Sh & Am Ch Avatar One Nite Standbayshore, going slightly lame on the move, but he holds so many qualities in head, build, shape, body and coat that he will be one to watch in future, so with the bitch on her toes, moving with the action required, she attracted in head and expression, body condition, muscled topline and rear quarters, she could do the job and was BIS.
RES BEST IN SHOW Forster-Cooper's Sheltysham Soft Breeze
Impresses with the balance and shape, pleases in head, neck, front and rear angles, moving to cover the ground.
BEST PUPPY IN SHOW Ferber's Rossbrook Chasing Shadows
Cracking youngster with good development in head and expression, body starting to mature and built in muscle, should have a good future with his pleasing action.
BEST VETERAN Large, Harlow, Baylis & Woods' Sh & Am Ch Borderfame I Am I Said
A well built and balanced performer with attractive and attentive head and ear set, good muscled body and condition, moving with the freedom of action required, lovely to go over.

DOGS ~ Judge Dave Weller
I was honoured to be asked to judge this show and found it a privilege to go over some quality dogs. I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for a very enjoyable day. Many thanks also to Jan & Keith for their expertise in stewarding.
A very pleasing entry of quality dogs, for my first time in awarding CCs in the breed. My general observation of the dogs present was fairly good fronts (I only found one out at elbow), good toplines and side gait. I was surprised to find light eyes, flared backskulls and some poor rear movement.
Minor Puppy Dog (4)
1st Ferber's Rossbrook Chasing Shadows
Very typy puppy, presented a pleasing outline. Being balanced throughout, nice head pattern, dark correct eye giving desired expression. Good reach of neck into well lay of shoulder. Nice front and width of chest, good turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Neat feet and strong pasterns, moved with ease. Best Puppy Dog, BPIS.
2nd Amos & Taylor's Minkynips So What for Cories (TAF)
Just 7 mths B/M. Lovely shape and size. Good head qualities, ample reach of neck and good front and rear angles. Moved well, head needs time to mature on.
3rd Flanders' Cashindie Dark Knight
Red, slightly larger than my first 2. Well constructed and when settled moved well. Carries his sire's virtues and when grown and settled into himself should have a bright future.
Res Hallam's Chikaramor A Shadey Affair
Puppy Dog (3, 1)
1st Scott-Webb's Nobite Nothing Ventured
Another B/W of correct shape and size. Good head and eye, fair reach of neck and good front construction. Level topline and held on the move. Well let down hocks. Needs to settle on rear movement.
2nd Cashindie Dark Knight

1st Gregory's Tonkory Quintessential JW

Well made front and good hindquarters, with nice turn of stifle and short upright hocks. Firm topline and sweep over loins. Presented a picture of a dog in balance, movement was free and easy.

Good head pattern, good neck and shoulder, width and depth of chest. Firm topline, well off for bone, moved well.

20 mth B/W. Well constructed dog, moved well both front and rear. Head handles well, arched neck, level topline, nice turn of stifle, short upright hocks, neat feet.
2nd Cories Aladdie
VHC in previous class. Would like more bone for size of dog. Good head pattern, fair arched neck, moved OK.
3rd Robinson's Dellekko The Poser
Stronger in head than I would like. Well off for bone. Movement was erratic & gay tail spoilt the overall picture.
Post Graduate Dog (12)
1st Beaumont's Borderbeau Emporio Armani
Lovely outline to this dog. Balanced head giving keen alert expression. Good reach of neck, strength in front and good layback of shoulder. Well sprung ribs, deep chest. In good supple condition, covered the ground with daisy cut action, hardly an effort. At one with his handler, should hit the high spot.

Fabulous head on this dog and expression to die for. Flat skull, skull and muzzle of equal length and parallel planes. Correct stop, ears set wide apart of good size, super shape, colour and set of eye giving the desired expression. Well moulded foreface and strength of underjaw. Neck of good length, arched into well lay of shoulder. Straight front, strong flexible pasterns. Level topline with graceful slope to tail. Nice turn of stifle, short upright hocks and neat feet. The whole presenting a picture that "fills the eye". Movement was true and easy. CC.
2nd Struys-Jacobs' Hearts Run Free Fascinator (ATCAH00490Bel)
Whereas my first epitomised head and eye, this dog was about construction and movement. Superbly made dog, well balanced throughout. Neck of good length, shoulder and upper arm correct. Level topline into good bend of stifle and short hocks. Moved around the ring with effortless ease, hardly any front lift to go forward with good reach and drive from the rear. Head handled well but the eye was slightly bold and forward facing, spoiling the expression. Res CC.
3rd Wiltshire & Carter's Sh Ch Caleykiz Mystical Dragon JW
