Class A Part 2 - Judge's Report

Judge: Alison Barrell
Steward: Trish Jones
Scoreboard: Margaret Young
49 entries

Thank you to all at SBCC for running a lovely show, looking after us and for the very useful gift. We were blessed with a glorious day, warm, sunny and a steady stream of competitors. Huge thanks to Trish for stewarding and to Margaret on the scoreboard. Many congratulations to Margaret and the lovely Teak on also finding time to win A Part 1.

This was a super class with lots of very good teams but those who came out on top on the day were as follows:

1st. Raxmae Bond Girl (WS) Miss B Rees. Lost 2¼
This was a beautiful round & just what I was looking for. Holding a lovely, balanced heelwork position complimented by fast accurate recall and retrieve. In fact the only clear retrieve of the day. Secured a very well deserved win with a textbook scent. Many congratulations and good luck for the rest of the season.

2nd. Bamboozle Bat Out Of Hell (BC) Ms C Lyster. Lost 4½
An enjoyable round to watch from this happy, motivated dog. Only minor errors and one of the best scents. Well done & good luck.

3rd. Rosebriars Fiver (WS) Mrs R Sparkes. Lost 5¼
A lovely round with very attractive heelwork. Just marred by a messy scent today. Well done and good luck.

4th. Warragul Amazonian Reva (BC) Mrs F Bush. Lost 6¼
Super smart heelwork. The slowing on return in retrieve and the messy scent were costly today but could easily win. Good luck.

5th. Thyme Of Flighte (BC) Mr K Riddles. Lost 6¼
Joint 4th but conceded the run off. A good all round performance by this willing boy. Well done & good luck for the rest of the season.

6th. Kethinna Ever In Blue Jeans (WS) Mrs T White. Lost 6¾
Cracking dog, superb heelwork but the over enthusiasm in the other exercises costly today. On another day I'm sure you would be on the other end of the line up.
