Agility

The Southern Border Collie Club has a very active and popular Agility Section catering for a broad spectrum of members, both competing and non-competing and not just with Border Collies.

Dog Agility started in the UK many years ago and is now an extremely popular and competitive sport. It has grown immensely in recent years, offering varied levels of competition locally, nationally and internationally.

Dogs are not permitted to compete until they are 18 months old and as a general rule at our club we do not allow handlers and dogs to train before the dogs are 12 months, or older, depending on the breed and maturity of the individual dog.
